I have over 15 years of professional experience, working primarily in photojournalism.As part of my work with the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange and photographing children in need of adoptive families, I'm now using my experience toward the creation of Casual Portraits. Rather then approaching portraiture from the standard studio mind set, we prefer to photograph children (and adults) in their natural setting.

These portraits capture not just the image, but the spirit of the subject.
